I put 50 years of work experience on the table and it focuses on coming up with solutions. Of course I spend time on the problem definition, but that is “only”, a stepping stone to the actual work; the solution!
The public sector and corporate companies were my working are. Now, as a hobby, I sometimes make my qualities available for fun things such as (music) performances. I must do something with that talent, creative ability and passion because I have nothing to do with being stuck behind Geraniums.
Design
I used to focus on the intersection of IT and processes.
Now, I take a much broader view.
It doesn’t really matter what you are designing. A methodical approach is key, because it ensures the outcome is always usable. That’s a bold claim, I know, but feel free to challenge me to prove otherwise.
